Anna Jorgensen
University of Sheffield
Co-investigator
Professor Anna Jorgensen is Head of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield and a Professor of Urban Natural Environments, Health and Wellbeing.
Her research focuses on nature-based solutions: ways of connecting people with nature in cities more effectively through the way we plan, design and manage urban green and open spaces and creating programmes that support people’s engagement with those spaces. She is interested in exploring the creation of NBS through place-based, co-design approaches that build on local social and environmental assets.
