Based across the Royal College of Art, University of Sheffield or Walsalls’s MindKind Projects, we are a team of multidisciplinary designers and researchers with backgrounds in service design, policy design, participatory art, community solidarity movements, human rights, design for disaster and social innovation to name but a few!

Richard Haynes

Co-investigator

Senior Management experience, setup three successful businesses, visiting lecturer to universities on enterprise.  A creative leader with a strong track record of building teams. An award winning strategist with ‘over-the-horizon thinking’. Working in commercial, public and voluntary sector roles spanning health, social care and housing, Richard is a holistic ‘systems thinker’. 

Receiving recognition through professional awards including the Municipal Journal Award; the Local Government Chronicle Award, for designing a ‘New Innovative Service Delivery Model’ for technology enabled care; and a  finalist in the Health Services Journal Award.  Written the foreword in the provider section of the International Code of Practice for Technology Enable Care and contributing author to Digital Healthcare, The Essential Guide.  

In Richard’s personal time, he is an avid fan of the outdoors.  A qualified Kayak Coach, completed a Sea Kayak expedition in Alaska, walked the infamous Vancouver West Coast Trail and completed the London Marathon
