Project Outline:

Table Manners is a workshop to research and question the ideologies and archetypes attached to the regulations around eating. What do table manners reveal at an anthropological level?
We will then aim to create a new set of rules according to new imaginary realities or scenarios. These manufactured manners will be performed and documented in the form of a film and a publication.

Timetable:

Day 1
intro and presentation by project leads
Create groups/pairs to do further research on table manners. Each pair/group chooses one idea/concept to focus on

Day 2
Development of new rules in pairs/groups. Sharing with the whole group and performance rehearsals. Putting everything together.

Day 3
The whole group works together for the production of the video and publication

Day 4
Editing of the video and publication

Day 5
Final event with a screening of the video and publication launch.
