Description:

This project is a collaboration between the designer Tom Dixon, the furniture manufacturer and retailer Ikea and the RCA. Tom Dixon has designed a new bed for Ikea that is conceived as a set of components that can be customised / adapted  / added to. Tom and Ikea have approached the RCA with a view to holding a week-long workshop to experiment with the product and propose some ideas that explore its potential.

AM – Initial Meeting / Orientation / Briefing
PM – Introduction / Briefing from Tom Dixon

Tuesday 1^st November – Thursday 3^rd November:

Workshop activities.

Friday 4^th November:

AM – Set up end of project display / exhibition.
PM – Project review / social event.
