On 23rd November Professor Lorraine Gamman and Professor Adam Thorpe lead our tenth keynote lecture investigating what participatory design can contribute to participatory democracy. If you weren’t able to attend, you can view the recording, and download the presentation.
Earlier in the afternoon, Lorraine and Adam spoke with our LDoc students, inviting them to consider their research in relation to the themes of democratising innovation and/or innovating democracy. The three hour workshop prompted a number of lively discussions, and enabled the students to review their work in a different context.
