Hannah White is a textiles designer and academic with a passion for structural textiles forms and their application to innovative design solutions.
After graduating from Nottingham Trent University in 1998, she set up a textile design business, continuing to study an MA in Design for Textile Futures, at Central Saint Martins in 1999. Hannah was textiles degree course leader at the University for the Creative Arts from 2006–2014.
Achievements include, an Award for Outstanding Design from the British Interior Textiles Association, selection for the NESTA Creative Pioneer Programme (National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts UK), selection for the Crafts Council Injection programme (2015) and a Crafts Council Development Award (2003). Design commissions have included The Victoria & Albert Museum, Selfridges and The Conran Shop.
