Miriam Ribul is a design researcher exploring new models for design interventions at the intersection of collaborative and trans-disciplinary practice for materials research. She developed research in material coding systems with a funding award from COST, the European Cooperation in Science and Technology. Recent publications are the outcome of her research engagements with TED’s ‘interconnected design thinking and processes’ project in the international MISTRA Future Fashion consortium between 2011–15, with UAL Futures for a Digital Creative Toolkit (2015), and with scientists in COST (2014). Miriam holds an MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins. She engages in new initiatives as consultant for a range of industry clients, curatorial roles, and as academic lead in sustainable design projects.
