Lewin is a London base artist, photographer and film maker. His work discusses the construction of the image of ‘the black subject ‘and in particular ‘the black man’s persona’ through the apparatus of western society and its mechanism of historical and present-day text.
The exhibited work is from The Apache Project. This is an on-going project taking place in Arizona on the Apache reservation and surrounding area.
