Project Leads: Natanya Mark, Rachel Sale, Kate Ducker and Rachel Davey
Number of participants: 15
Duration: 5 days
Project Outline:
AcrossRCA falls just before the 1 year 6 month anniversary of Grenfell Tower Fire. RCA Justice4Grenfell Solidarity Group will be running a week-long engagement, working closely with Justice4Grenfell to deliver a day-long workshop at the end of the AcrossRCA week. Our AcrossRCA group will work on creating a ‘United Voices’ making day, open for local families and RCA students to come and make together to keep up the community voice. We will decide what we want this making day to feel like, what workshops or making stations we might want to run, what materials we’d like to use. Sign up if you have an idea for a making station, of if you want to learn more about this way of working with a local community.
Timetable:
Day 1
Morning: RCA Grenfell Solidarity Group introduction and collective banner making session.Afternoon: Walk to Latimer road area to explore the area, meet community groups and get a sense of the existing visual language of the campaign.
Day 2
Morning: Meeting with Justice4Grenfell Team
Afternoon: Idea generation workshop
Day 3
All day: Test and develop workshop ideas and concepts
Day 4

There will be a follow up event on the 14th December, where we take the material we have made on the 1 year 6 months silent walk, and put it up along this route in advance.
